Since their conception, over 2,100 CubeSats have been sent to space. They now constitute nearly 30% of all satellites launched, 40% of satellites launched under 600kg, and 11% of all total payload mass combined. Nearly every single rocket now carries at least one to orbit & some missions are comprised entirely of them. In 2023 alone, 600 missions have been announced, with nearly 200 launched in the first five months already.
